Any given language is listed by it’s component nature. If a language has a variation, it is followed by one of the below notations. The layout is generally <root> <form>, so speaking the ancient language common to the world means you would have Common Ancient, while speaking the common language among the town of Stoneguard would be Common Achecian.

  • Ancient = Root languages. These are mostly known to ancient beings or scholars.
  • Clansian = Simplistic bridge language that only includes the limited words found in both ancient and modern languages. Each clan augments with a few unique words and often a few symbols, but nothing complex and no written language in a true sense.
  • Modern, locational, etc = Complex modern languages based around a specific area. Most have some form of written form as well.
